Student Dances FAQ
All dances are planned and organized by students. The below process is for STUDENTS to follow and posted for families so they understand the process. When a dance dates is announced, dance information is posted for students by students on the student Schoology ASB and Instagram pages, communicated during announcements and posted throughout the school.
- Guest forms are available outside of Ms. G’s office for 6 weeks prior to the scheduled date of the event and STUDENTS should read the form and complete it as directed.
- Guest forms MUST include a copy of the guests ID (this can be any form of identification that clearly shows their name next to their photo)
- Guest forms MUST include a signature and business card from the principal of the school your guest attends. If they have graduated high school, they do not need this signature
- Guests cannot be in middle school and cannot be over the age of 20
- Forms must be turned in and cleared before the last day of ticket sales – typically the Friday before the final 3 days of sales the following week
- Guests must arrive with their Lincoln host. They will not be permitted to enter the dance with anyone other than the student that completed the form.
- Tickets will be sold for 3 weeks and always close the Wednesday before the scheduled date of the event
- Tickets are sold in the lower commons – always during lunch, and before and after school varies depending on the day. Full schedules are released and posted around the school in addition to the Lincoln Instagram and Lincoln ASB Schoology page
- Students are NEVER allowed to leave and re-enter the event. Once they have checked into the dance, if they exit the venue, they will not be permitted to return
- Bag checks will be conducted at check in, and free coat/bag check is provided at all dances
- No alcohol, tobacco, or drug use or possession of any of these items is allowed at any Lincoln High School events.
