My name is Saghar Pardakhtchi, and I am so excited to begin my journey at Seattle Public Schools as part of the Lincoln High School team. I hold a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of Barcelona and bring over a decade of experience teaching Spanish, Persian, and English in diverse settings. I believe that positive energy and vibes create powerful connections with students, and this is at the heart of my teaching. Outside of school, I enjoy biking, theatre, cinema, and concerts, as well as spending time with friends discussing the movies or plays we’ve seen together at local cafés.

My name is Michelle Pentecost, and I am so excited to be joining the Lincoln team! I grew up in Louisiana, but after graduating from high school I moved to New York City to attend Columbia University, where I majored in English and Education. After college, I taught English at a public high school in the Bronx before moving to Seattle. Most of my career has been spent in Federal Way, where I taught high school English and Theatre for 9 years before moving to the FWPS district office where I served as the facilitator for all K-12 Fine Arts programs (Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Dance). As a teacher, I love when I get to see students have “a ha!” moments when they understand a difficult concept or make real world connections to the materials that we are studying. I believe that strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills are essential for all students, regardless of the career paths that they will choose to pursue, and I enjoy working with students who from a diversity of backgrounds and interests. As a resident of the Wallingford neighborhood, I am especially excited to take on the unique project of re-opening a historic school which will have a lasting impact on the place where my family has put down roots. I have a son who has just entered kindergarten at John Stanford and will be a Lincoln Lynx in only 9 short years! When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy reading, cross stitching, and watching terrible sci fi movies.
At school Jordyn likes to support students in math and science. Outside of school he enjoys playing sports, coaching, and photography. He is extremely excited to be working in the Lincoln community and continuing to grow together.
I'm so very excited and elated to teach at Lincoln! My goal is to share my love of design-thinking and skill-building with students, as well as the joys of finding career opportunities and building pathways.
I'm a Seattle native -- growing up in Bellevue, with lots of time in Wallingford, West Seattle, Magnolia, and Queen Anne. I graduated from UW with a degree in advertising. My professional life started at Nordstrom (during high school and college), then as an art director for many really cool Seattle advertising agencies, as a creative director, a freelance illustrator and designer. My journey brought me to teaching, beginning at The Center School in 2001, as part of the original design team. I like to share time with my husband, three adult children (when they're not too busy living their own best lives!), and our dog, Woody.
Hi, I am Darryl Puri. I grew up in Woodinville, Washington and went to the University of Washington where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and minored in Math. Next, I received my Masters in Teaching Math and Science from Seattle Pacific University. I was lucky enough to be a long term sub at Lincoln during its first year and have been there ever since. Outside of school I like to go to museums, read, cook, and spend time with my wife (Sierra), my son (Camilo), and friends.
