Hey Lynx! Don’t forget, Environmental club is hosting its first meeting on Monday the 14th! Come join us for weekly crafts, environmental competitions, and even help take care of the school garden. Plus, you’ll earn service hours for attending the meetings! We can’t wait to see you there 🌱
Hi Lynx! The Debate Team’s first meeting is on Tuesday, the 16th after school. It will be held in room 246. The previously planned Thursday the 18th lunch meeting will NOT be happening as of now because of split lunches. Join us for an introduction to the team and learn about our trainings, tournaments and more! You will grow lifelong speaking and argumentation skills, while making unforgettable bonds! Hey Lynx. Today, Monday 15th, the Brotherhood Initiative will have their first meeting in Ms. Hanson’s office in the back of the library – the same office it was held in last year. The Brotherhood Initiative is a mentorship club connecting UW students with 10th and 11th grade African American boys. If you are interested in joining, please come meet in Ms Hanson’s office in the library at the start of mentorship. See you there!
Club meetings for the sexuality and gender alliance, also known as SAGA, have started! SAGA meetings are after school, on Thursdays in the library, where people of all identities can find community, play games, and eat snacks!
Hey Lynx, Do you want to join Cross Connections. Cross Connections is a program that connects high school students with the assisted living residents across the street. You get to meet up weekly for an hour (based on your schedule, so it is very flexible). Gain service hours, new connection and have the opportunity to interview your resident which can be saved to the Library of Congress!! Fill out the form to join: located on schoology and Lincoln’s insta.
Hey Lynx! LHS 4 Climate Justice Club is having its first meeting this Thursday at lunch, in Room 351, Mr. Damico’s room! Are you interested in climate justice, making real, tangible legislative change, and interested in helping plan Walk or Bike to School Day, Civic Engagement Day and voter registration drives? Make sure to pull up to the first meeting of the year for snacks and a fun time!
