Hi everyone! My name is Marcus Scott, I will be joining the Lincoln team as a Girls? Basketball Head Coach. I currently reside in Tacoma, WA where I graduated from Lincoln High School. I attended Eastern Washington University and obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and continuing my education to obtain my MS in Sports Administration. I have eight plus years coaching basketball experience at various levels including middle school, high school and college. After attending college, I returned to Tacoma where I assisted in creating a youth organization called the Eastside H.A.W.K.S. (Helping All Willing Kids Succeed) which aimed to help young men of color be surrounded by positive mentors in our community. Most recently, I held the position as Assistant Women’s Coach at Green River Community College as well as Head Coach for the Boys and Girls Basketball teams at Stewart Middle School in Tacoma, while working as their Campus Security.
