Lincoln Scholarship Information

Lincoln Alumni Association Scholarship

The Lincoln Alumni Association awards scholarships each year to three qualifying Lynx students. Applications open for this year’s Class of 2023 seniors in January 2023 and are due May 1, 2023. Go to the Lincoln Lynx Alumni Association scholarship page to learn more about this scholarship and get ready to apply. A link will be provided to the application here when it opens in January.

Ballard Elks Scholarship

Each year the Ballard Elks Lodge awards three local girls and three local boys $1,000.00 each to be used towards college tuition. Students should select “Ballard Elks” during the application process. Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks.  Applicants may also advance and be considered for additional state and National Elks scholarships. 

This scholarship is available to high school seniors and the deadline is November 14th, 2022. You can find more information, and students can apply online using the button below.

College and Career Readiness logo

Scholarships are a type or grant (monetary gift) for students use in paying for after high school training and college programs. Scholarships are available for students as early as Elementary and continue through Grad School. Federal and State programs provide over 46 billion dollars in student aid and private companies, community organizations, civic groups, foundations and religious organizations provide an additional 3 billion dollars in scholarships.

11/30/2022 – Marion Huber Learning Through Listening Awards

Amount: $2000
Deadline: November 30
Seniors only: No

Learning Ally awards the top winners $6,000 each and special honors winners $2,000 each. All scholarship awardees must be capable and willing to publicly share their personal story and represent Learning Ally as a spokesperson and advocate at various local, virtual, and national events. Costs associated with these events will be covered by Learning Ally.

Marion Huber Learning Through Listening Awards

12/02/2022 – National Space Club Scholarship

Amount: $15,000
Deadline: December 2
Seniors only: Yes

Since 2013, The National Space Club and Foundation has offered the opportunity for a student to give the keynote address at the National Space Club and Foundation’s annual Goddard Memorial Dinner, one of the space industry’s most prestigious gatherings. The student must intend to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields, be academically strong and excel in public speaking.

In addition to speaking at the Goddard Memorial Dinner, the individual selected will also receive a scholarship, in the amount of $15,000. This scholarship is awarded to a U.S. citizen and is open to seniors in High School through graduate students studying at an accredited educational institution in the United States, who has definite plans to pursue a career in the STEM fields.

National Space Club Scholarship

12/31/2022 – Mary P. Oenslager Scholastic Achievement Award

Amount:  up to $6000
Deadline: December 31
Seniors only: Yes

Awards ranging from $1,000 to $6,000 will be given to qualifying students who are blind or visually impaired.

Amount:  $3000 annually

Each year Vocational Training HQ’s Scholarship offers three scholarships to students attending universities, colleges, and other academic and non-academic institutions in the U.S.

We are proud to award $3,000 annually to qualifying applicants.

Every year we select three applicants based on their essay and award them first, second, and third place grants.

Amount: up to $40,000

With the rise of technology in our modern world, the study of engineering has become more demanding. Those who are smart and passionate enough to enter the field may come to find that attending the best engineering institutions isn’t cheap.

That’s why we want to award one lucky student up to $40,000 to further their education in engineering. We believe that money shouldn’t stop someone from pursuing their dream and making the world a better place. Those who have the knowledge and skills to build a career in engineering should have an equal opportunity to do so, despite their current financial situation.
