Lincoln Counseling Crew 2024-2025 Calendar

The Lynx Counseling Crew is available every day to support students experiencing crisis. Our student’s mental health remains a priority, regardless of what is on our calendar.  

September

  • 4 – First Day of School – Welcome, we are excited to partner with you! 
  • 12 – Last day to submit a schedule change request form  
  • 17 – Last day to add or drop classes
  • 18 – New Lynx Link Up – Welcome session for all 10th-12th grade transfer students
  • 24 – LHS Curriculum Night

October

  • College, Military, and Trade visits begin!
    • To view the full list of institutions visiting LHS and to register for a visit, please go to Naviance.
    • Click on ‘Colleges’, then ‘College Visits’
  • 4 – Senior Class Meeting – Letters of Rec, Applications, Future Options, Applications, Grad Requirements 
  • 7-10 – DiscoverU College and Career Week
    • 7-8 – “Walk to Work” – students have the opportunity to learn more about the various college and career experiences of the staff members.
    • 10 – College and Career Gear – rep your alma mater or future school or career
    • Daily drop-in support every day at lunch for application and career support
    • Daily tips including Military, Trade School, WUE, Seattle Promise, Scholarships  
  • 8 – College App Support Night 6pm-7pm Lincoln Auditorium  
  • 9 – School Day SAT for 12th Graders
  • 9 – National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist applications due
  • 23 – School Day PSAT for 11th Graders
  • TBD – Semester 1 Grade Check – All students with D’s and E’s families will be notified  

November

  • College, Military, and Trade visits continued!
  • 1 – Early application deadline for many colleges/universities
  • 7-11 – Drop-in support every day at lunch for college application and career support 
  • 14-18 – Running Start drop-in during Lynx Time and Lunch
  • 21-23 – Seniors! If you need help with figuring out post-secondary plans, we will have drop-in times available during (Lynx Time and Lunch) next week, 11/21 – 11/23. No need to set up an appointment, just check in with your 3rd period teacher and head over to the Counseling Center.

December

  • 1 – 2025-2026 FAFSA/WAFSA Opens

This calendar holds collaborations across departments at Lincoln High. Dates may change, please check back for updates. 

*Seattle Promise provides graduates of Seattle Public Schools (SPS) with up to two years (or 90 free credits) of financial assistance and support services at any of the three Seattle Colleges (North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College). 

** Naviance tasks are required for graduation.
