Welcome, Lincoln High School Parents and Friends!

Whether you are new to high school or a returning Lynx family, we all share the varied and
mixed emotions of starting the school year during these strange times. For our 9th grade
families, entering high school is both daunting and exciting under the best circumstances. As you navigate academics and athletics, the arts, and after-school activities, all students their families will be adapting to a completely different system from that which we are accustomed.

With this in mind, the PTSA has spent the past few months considering the best ways to serve and support our students, teachers and families in our second year as a high school and with the uncertainty of how the year will proceed.

This fall, we will offer a series of virtual meetings, called Table Talks, with the topics driven by your questions and concerns. While we might not have the answers to all of your questions, we are hopeful that by connecting to other parents and by providing a space to ask and share your concerns and experiences, we can help each of you find the tools to help your students and family have a successful year of learning at Lincoln.

Our first virtual event is Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30 pm, a welcome for incoming 9th grade parents and parents new to Lincoln. Future events for all grades will be held every other week, with dates to be announced on our website and social media. All Lincoln families are invited to attend.

We also invite you to join us! As a young PTSA, we are still creating our structure and
foundation. With athletics, activities, and the arts postponed, this gives us a unique time to
bolster our existing committees and grow our volunteer base for that glorious day when we all can come together for a concert, a bake sale for a basketball team and to cheer for our children.

The PTSA provides support for our students and staff in so many ways, and your participation is a great way to lift Lincoln and our Lynx up!

Please visit our webpage at http://www.lincolnseattleptsa.org/, where you can sign up for our weekly newsletter or join the PTSA. You can also like and follow us on Facebook and Instagram @lincolnseattleptsa. We post regular updates and links to events through all of these resources and you can choose the one that works best to keep you informed. As always, if you have any questions, please contact us at info@lincolnseattleptsa.org.

We look forward to a fantastic year at Lincoln and the day when we can all come together, in person, as a community again.
