    Samantha Schuh, Counselor L-Z

Samantha SchuhHello! I am Sam Schuh, and I am so excited to join the Lincoln team as a school counselor! I grew up near Spokane, Washington before attending University of Washington and earning my Bachelors degree in Sociology. I worked in the King County Prosecutors Office as a legal assistant for several years before pursuing my Masters in School Counseling at Seattle University. For the last two years, I worked as a school counselor in Beaverton, Oregon and am thrilled to be back to the city I call home, doing the work that I love. I believe that the role of the school counselor is to promote wellness in the areas of academic success, social/emotional health, and post-secondary readiness as well as working to ensure schools work equitably for all students. Professionally, I'm passionate about healing and connection through group counseling, utilizing restorative practices, and advocating for student voice.
